DINNER AT GBK

Im quite possibly a burger fiend. They are my absolute favourite thing to eat on any occasion and I could definitely eat them everyday for the rest of my life.. I think I enjoy the variety the most! I've visited GBK lots of times but never shared with you my experience and thoughts on the food. Until now...

I basically order the same thing every time, the Taxi Driver. Beef patty, American cheese, an onion ring, lettuce, tomato and gherkins - the full works! If you're going to have a burger, you may as well go full out right? I opt for the skinny fries on the side too.

I wish I could explain how tasty this burger is, but I can't. Delicious, ridiculous and scrumdidilyumptious come to mind though (definitely just made that word up). The meat is succulent, juicy and full of flavour! The fried onion ring adds some crunch and the salad is thrown in so I don't feel too unhealthy LOL! The cheese is creamy and the burger sauce with the gherkin just tops it all off.

You can choose from many sides but I think the skinny fries (and they are freaking tiny) are the best. Salty & crunchy, just the way I like. The bacon dip is also INSANE. Yup, BACON dip. WHAT!?!

I absolutely love GBK for affordable wholesome fast food. The service isn't always the best though and I find the waiters/waitresses are often lacking in enthusiasm and politeness. Everyone sort of looks like they don't want to be there?  My recent trip was to GBK Westfield White City so I'm not saying the service is the same everywhere - maybe just in that particular one.

I had a lovely meal with Mary and would definitely recommend GBK, especially when you're bloody starving like we were. They also do shakes which I've heard are INCREDIBLE.
