So contouring is out, strobing is in. Although, contouring is forever a part of my routine but I have now become slightly addicted to adding light upon light upon light to my face..
Strobing is basically the posh word for 'highlight'. Its all about adding light, dewiness and & a beautiful glow to the skin. I've been using highlighters for years but due to the recent strobing hype I have upped my highlighter game, spent money on new ones and re-discovered old ones from my stash.
MAC's Gold Deposit | MAC's Soft & Gentle are the two I appear to reach for the most. Gold Deposit is just perfect for adding a golden glow to the skin whilst also giving off light. Soft & Gentle is a little bit more out there for my skintone as it is a lot more cool toned, more whiter than Gold Deposit so it stands out a lot more. I alternate between the both depending on how I feel, but I actually enjoy using them together as a highlight combo. Both of these products are just stunning, super pretty and also versatile. You can build up the products for a more intense highlight, something I will definitely go for on a night out.
Ive also been enjoying Nudestix Lip Pencil in Mystic for an everyday lip with a swipe of HD Brows Dusk Lipgloss. Super easy but super pretty. Im actually on the hunt for new lipsticks, glosses, pencil etc so if you have any recommendations, please let me know.
