SO IM GOING TO NEW YORK THIS WEEKEND...

So this weekend Shirley & I are off to New York City to eat, chill, explore, laugh, eat, drink, and did I mention eat? I've been to NYC twice before but its Shirley's first time so we obviously just have to do all of the touristy, cliche, cheesy things.. When in New Yawk right?

We have lots planned including The Skyline, Top Of The Rock and taking a long stroll through Central Park. We are also hoping to see a show on broadway, host a joint meet up (details announced tomorrow on Twitter) and spend some time exploring the not so touristy New York, with my friend Steph. We have 4 days to fit in as much as we can - no rest for the wicked and all that.

If you have any suggestions of places to visit, things to do, food to stuff our faces with and anything in between then please comment below. We are super excited for our trip so let me know the best things to do in NYC!

PS. We are totally going to book the Sex & The City tour ;)

  4. Juniors in NYC is one of my favourite places to eat in the whole world. It's much more than just cheesecake - their breakfast is the bomb.

  6. WHERE TO BEGIN?: there's a nice little food market in South Street Seaport. My favourite was the grilled cheese stall called Milk Truck Grilled Cheese. The most amazing grilled cheese sandwiches ever. If you like Chinese food, you have to go to Xi'an's Famous Foods. They make the pulled noodles in front of you and the food is incredible. Love lobster, then go to Lobster Plaice or Chelsea Market for other food. Russ & Daughters make really delicious bage. In NY you'll find they sell cream cheees with flavours we don't have here

  7. you may want to buy hot chocolate. Jacques Torres make the most chocolatiest hot chocolate (or frozen hot chocolate instead). You have to try cookies from Levain Bakery; beautiful & ooze with peanut butter, chocolate or whatever you buy. Can buy a glass of milk to dunk the cookie in too! Queues get long though. Clinton street baking co for brunch is popular. I've got photos of my NY holiday in august on instagram if you want to have a look. Mara xxx
