Denim really is everywhere at the moment. Its so on trend, and for me it always has been. Denim is just timeless and will be around forever. Denim can sometimes be a bit tricky to work with and I think its important to incorporate it into your wardrobe with what works best for you.
The Denim Playsuit - For girls who are leg confident. This would look great with gladiator sandals or converse. Throw on a cute little jumper to add a little summin' summin' for cooler summer nights. This is also a cute piece for festivals or summer holidays.
The Black Jean - Can be worn by everyone, no matter your shape or size. The high waisted fit is great for holding in that tummy and creating the illusion of a smaller waist. The rips are a great modern twist on the classic black jean.
The Military Pant - A really cool twist on basic denim jeans X cargo pants. A great pair of jeans for nights out with a statement pair of heels. The stitched darts will also add shape to the 'boyish' frame. Flattering high waist once again. Paired with a cropped blazer and bralet. Super cute!
The Chic Jean - With an old school light wash denim vibe, these are great for any fashionista. Not the most flattering shade of denim but who cares? Great style and cut for cute stilettos & even some converse for a dressed down feel. These would look insane with a red lip, top knot and a leather jacket.
The Oversized Denim Dress - This is 100% on my wish list! A simple piece that give the illusion you have put a lot of effort into your outfit. Bright lip, killer heels and a statement clutch. Or gladiator sandals & a chunky waist belt to add some shape. This is definitely an investment.
The Trench Denim Jacket - A fantastic transitional piece from winter to spring. Layer this with chunky knits and trousers for the colder months, then opt for casual tees and trainers for the warmer months. A great jacket to throw on for meetings or last minute lunch dates. I love the shade of denim and the stripe detail. Vertical stripes will also make you look slimmer.
The 90s Denim Shirt - A classic piece that every woman should have. Great for all seasons and can be paired with pretty much anything. I love wearing denim shirts with leggings and plimsols. Super casual and super comfy.
The Longline Denim Shirt - A perfect twist on your standard shirt. A great item for bum conscious girls - the length is super flattering. I would actually wear this on a night out with high waisted trousers, a crop top and some heels. It would also keep you warm without affecting your stylish outfit. I like how the model is wearing it too. Im usually not a big fan of flats but they look great here.
The 00s Denim Shirt - The younger sister of the 90s shirt. This shade of denim is easier to style for meetings and events as it looks a bit more put together and less casual. A great fit for the whole double denim trend if you're brave enough. Open it up with a logo tee & you've got perfect Sunday attire.
So thats my take on denim. What piece would you go for?
Oversized Denim ftw. Love this post by the way!
